Owl costume

Jane will be an owl in her class play this week. She requested the snowy owl in particular. I found this great wing pattern online. 

She really doesn't want to wear the giant glasses, but I think that helps distinguish her as an owl versus other birds. Still might attach a few feathers to the rims, but that will require a trip to Michael's on the weekend...

I sewed a few feathers to a long white cotton t-shirt. She told me snowy owls are mostly white with just a few dark feathers, not too many!

And she's off!
